Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a musical family. Growing up, she listened to lots of classical music and older Boleros. Also, she listened to traditional romantic ballads and ranchero. Ana is a fan of Tangos. Also, she loves operas as well as any dramatic performance. Following her singing lessons with mom and sister, she began more intense singing lessons at the age of 16 under the guidance by renowned Mexican Tenor FlavioBecerra. She furthered her training in music through the School of Music of Guadalajara University and later at the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. In Guadalajara as well as Mexico City, she was a member of many opera choruses and chamber ensembles. After moving from Mexico to the United States at the age of 2000, she performed in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She sings with Ensemble XXI Redlands, and performs Latin American traditional music solo in a variety of private occasions. As a musician and teacher she has volunteered for many projects in the community because of her passion and enthusiasm for music. Ana has also been a former part of the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana is grateful to Inland Master Chorale members for their permission to play traditional Latin American song.
