MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music has seen major international breakthroughs into the Latin popular music scene. Una Lady Como Tu, the song that he released in 2016, received the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for Favorite Song. The singer released his first long-player ADN with the Sony-owned company based in Medellin, La Industria Inc. The album peaked at the rank of 8 in the Top Latin Albums charts. He then became part of Ozuna to record their Top Five smash Vaina Loca. Mala Influencia came out as his collaboration with Noriel in the year 2020. The following year, Dopamina became his second album. Later, in 2021, the singer sang a duet 2021 with TINI in her smash hit Maldita Foto. The singer appeared with him in 2023 for 2000, featuring the huge hit La Bachata. Turizo was a member of a musical family, his older brother and mother are both musicians. Turizo has told interviews that music is a must. As a child, he was instructed to perform on the guitar, piano as well as the ukulele. Although he initially wanted to work as a vet, Julian convinced him that having lessons from a Cuban music teacher could change his direction in life.
