Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is famous Indian actress who is famous for her the roles she played in Hum Aapke Hai Koun. In the late 80s when she started her acting career. She became famous for her role as Tezaab in which she appeared alongside an established actor Anil Kapooor. She next appeared in the movie Dil In which she shared the screen with Aamir Khan. Born into a middle-class family in Mumbai she started learning dancing at a young age. When she was a teen She began to act and struggled for years as the majority of her first films were failures. Then, she discovered success in Indian cinema and rose to the top. Following her wedding the actress took time off from acting before returning. She was a key character in Gulaab Gang, a film about women's struggles in India. Dixit has been nominated for fifteen Filmfare Awards. Of these she's won eight. Padma Shri - the fourth most highly regarded civilian award in India awarded to Dixit. Also, she has earned a name for her social activism.
